The arrival of 3D printing technology in medicine is opening up completely new possibilities, such as recreating tissue and organs on demand. Even complex structures like coronary vessels can now be produced.
Volumetric, founded in 2018 by Jordan Miller and Bagrat Grigoryan, is pioneering in this area. “Science magazine” has honored their achievements in a cover story.
Task
Undertaking a full brand development and creating a micro style guide to enable a young and fast-growing company to establish a robust visual identity right from the start.

Concept
When designing the brand for this medical manufacturer, the goal was to create a rational and informative identity. Contemporary and driven towards the future while appealing to medical professionals and scientists. The logo shape visualizes a cell structure that’s growing and dynamic – Volumetric’s supreme discipline.
